Almabor ® TMB

This high-purity organoborate is the preferred reagent for synthesis of boronic acids. It can be used as solvent, plasticizer, catalyst, flame retardant additive (for materials such as pigments, paints etc.) and lemon-lime fruit fumigant. It also serves as an anti-scuff agent in lubricants, stabilizer in a variety of polymers and dispersing agent in the semi conductor manufacturing. In recent years, trimethyl borate has been utilized as a dehydrating agent, in the preparation of activated silica and in GC analysis for carbohydrate derivatives.
