Almabor® BTHF
Our high quality Almabor BTHF is available as a 1M solution in THF, stabilized with sodium borohydride. Borane THF is a very valuable reagent with many applications. It is mostly utilized in reduction processes of a wide range of functional groups and hydroboration of triple and double carbon-carbon bonds. It is an excellent reagent for reduction of amides to amine and carboxylic acids to alcohols. It serves as borane source for oxazaborolidine catalyzed asymmetric reductions.
